Refund Policy

Effective June 11, 2026

If Hefty Search isn't for you, you get your money back. Every purchase comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questionnaire required.

How to request a refund

Email contact@heftysearch.app within 14 days of purchase, from the email address you used at checkout (or include your order number from the receipt).
That's it. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method. Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

What happens after a refund

Your license key is deactivated and Hefty Search will return to the activation screen on your Macs. Everything Hefty Search created on your device (its search index) stays on your device — you can delete it from Settings before uninstalling, and your photos and files are of course untouched.

After 14 days

Past the 14-day window we can't promise a refund, but email us anyway — if something is broken for you, we'd rather fix it or make it right than keep your money.
